FIFA Ethics and Regulations Watch (FERW) supports FIFA’s decision to organize the first conference to analyze the Women’s World Cup France 2019.
The conference will be held in Milan on September 22. Among the invited are directors of the six confederations, coaches and heads of women’s football.
The program will include an analysis of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 from a technical, tactical and physical point of view, discussions on the main footballing trends in comparison to previous editions of the tournament, and the presentation of the FIFA Technical Study Group report.
According to Branimir Ujevic, FIFA’s Head of Coaching & Player,
“This historic conference will give us a unique opportunity to better understand how women’s football has been developing on the pitch and the main lessons learnt from France. It’s also an ideal platform to share experiences between well-established women’s football powerhouses and those member associations that are starting to invest more and more in the female game.”
In light of this news, FERW calls on FIFA to do their best in organizing the conference.
Furthermore, FERW also calls on all football officials and coaches to promote and attend the conference and work together with FIFA to enhance women’s football worldwide.
