Miroslav Klose is a football great name. Known for his amazing scoring touch and unassuming temperament, the German forward is among the most famous players in FIFA World Cup history. Exceeding the famous Ronaldo Nazário of Brazil, Klose’s 16 goals across four World Cup tournaments (2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014) set the record for the most goals scored in history.

Early Life and Football Journey

Klose’s road to the top was far from traditional; he was born in Opole, Poland, on June 9, 1978. Living as a young boy in Germany, Klose’s innate soccer ability became evident shortly thereafter. At first, he was a member of local club youth teams before he started his professional career with the well-known German squad Kaiserslautern in 1999.
